Put your catalogue and your quoting engine inside your PrestaShop store. The customer configures the job, sees the price straight away and the quote lands in CotizaPrint. It takes about 10 minutes to install, and there are no pages to create and no code to paste.

What it is
A PrestaShop module that shows your CotizaPrint catalogue, with real prices, inside your own store. It works on PrestaShop 1.7 and 8.x.
Unlike the WordPress one, the module creates its own screens when you install it. There are no pages to create and no shortcodes to paste.
What it is for
- Letting your customers quote configurable jobs (sizes, materials, finishing) that do not fit as a fixed product in the store.
- Having the quote land in CotizaPrint fully built, with its customer and its lines.
- Making the most of your current store without duplicating the catalogue or the prices.
What you need before you start

Step 1 · Install the module
- In CotizaPrint, go to Settings → Integration and click PrestaShop.
- Click Download ZIP. Do not unzip it.
- Log in to your PrestaShop as an administrator.
- Go to Modules → Module Manager and click Upload a module.
- Choose the ZIP and wait for it to finish.
- Click Configure when you are offered it.
The module shows up in your list as Cotizador CotizaPrint.
To update to a new version: download the ZIP again and upload it the same way. PrestaShop replaces the module and your settings are kept.
Step 2 · Connect to CotizaPrint
- In the module settings, paste the API KEY into its field.
- Click Save changes.
- Click Test connection (at the top, in the status band).
If everything is right you will see Connected in green, along with how many products and categories it finds. If it says No connection, the message tells you what is wrong.
Careful: the API KEY is pasted whole, including the number and the underscore at the start (12_aBcDeF…). Without that part, CotizaPrint does not know which organisation the key belongs to.
Step 3 · Putting the catalogue where people can see it
The module already has its four screens created. Their links appear in the The quoting engine screens table in the settings.
All that is left is for your customers to reach the catalogue:
- Copy the link in the Catalogue row.
- In PrestaShop, go to Design → Main menu links (or whichever menu your theme uses).
- Add a new link with that destination and whatever name you like (Online quote, Quoting engine…).
- Save and check it on your store.
The other three screens (calculator, basket and quote) are reached from the catalogue: there is no need to link them.
Shortcut: if the links give you a page not found, go to Shop Parameters → Traffic & SEO and save, so the friendly URLs are rebuilt.
Step 4 · Adjusting the look
On the same settings screen, under Appearance:
- Main colour: the colour of your buttons and labels. Set it to the same one as your store.
- Catalogue title: the heading on the entry screen.
- Products per row: how many fit in each row.
- Initial quantity: the quantity suggested when a product is opened.
- Show the price breakdown: shows the customer the base and the taxes, not just the total.
The module inherits the typography and the structure of your theme, so it fits in without any tweaking.
How it looks to your customer
- They go into the catalogue and look for what they need, or filter by category.
- They click a product and land on the calculator: they choose material, size, finishing and quantity. The price recalculates on its own.
- They click Add to quote. They can carry on adding more products.
- In the basket they check the lines and click Continue.
- They fill in their details. If they are already logged in to your store, name, email and address come filled in.
- They receive the quote as a PDF by email, with a link to accept it.
- When they accept it, the quote in CotizaPrint becomes a work order.
What each screen is

Wording you will see on screen
- API KEY: the key that authorises your store to ask for your catalogue and your prices.
- From: the price of the smallest quantity, to give an idea before configuring anything.
- Add to quote: saves the configuration and the price into the quoting engine basket.
- Friendly URL: the readable address of each screen. PrestaShop generates them on its own.
If something does not add up

Which plan you need
- TRY / STD / PRO / FULL: the module works on every plan, as long as PrestaShop is switched on in your account.
- Whoever sets it up in CotizaPrint needs administration permission (
auto_edit). In PrestaShop you have to be an administrator.
Frequently asked questions
Q: I have PrestaShop. Can I connect it now?
A: Yes. In Settings → Integration, click PrestaShop, copy the API KEY and click Download ZIP. If the card says Disabled, click Request information so we can switch it on for you.
Q: Which versions of PrestaShop does it work with?
A: With 1.7 and 8.x.
Q: Do I have to create pages as I do in WordPress?
A: No. The module creates its four screens when you install it. All you have to do is add the Catalogue link to your menu.
Q: Do I need to know how to program?
A: No. You upload the ZIP, paste the API KEY and add a link to the menu.
Q: Does it get mixed up with the products I already sell in the store?
A: No. The quoting engine is a separate section, with its own basket. Your PrestaShop products and orders carry on working exactly as before.
Q: Why does the quoting engine not use the normal PrestaShop basket?
A: Because a configurable job (size, material, finishing) is not a fixed product in the store catalogue: it has no reference and no combination to attach it to. The quote is generated in CotizaPrint, which is what knows how to work it out.
Q: Is payment taken in the store?
A: No. The quoting engine produces a quote, not a paid order. The customer receives it by email and accepts it; payment is handled in CotizaPrint just like any other quote.
Q: Do the prices go out of date?
A: No. The module does not store any prices: it asks CotizaPrint for the price every time. Whatever you change there shows up straight away.
Q: Can my costs or my margins be seen on the store?
A: No. Only the final price is sent. Cost and margin never leave CotizaPrint.
Q: Is the API KEY visible to my visitors?
A: No. Every call to the ERP goes out from your store's server; the key is never sent to the customer's browser.
Q: My customer already has an account on the store. Do they have to type their details again?
A: No. If they are logged in, their name, their email and their default address come filled in on the form.
Q: Can I use this module and the WordPress plugin at the same time?
A: Yes, with the same API KEY. Both will show the same catalogue. If you regenerate the key, remember to paste the new one into both.
Q: How do I update the module?
A: Download the ZIP again from Settings → Integration and upload it just as you did the first time. Your settings are kept. The version installed is shown at the top right of the settings.
Q: Does it work on mobile?
A: Yes, all four screens adapt to the width of a phone.
Q: Where is the PDF manual? I used to download it.
A: The manual is now read online with View manual, on the connector record: it opens in another tab and is always the latest version, so there is nothing to download and nothing to go out of date on your computer. The same thing you are reading now.
